CANDIDATE BACKGROUND 

Jessica Killin is running to represent Colorado’s 5th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has served as a Captain and paratrooper in the U.S. Army, where she was stationed overseas and led soldiers as a Military Police Officer. She then served as an executive at USAA promoting policies to protect military families and veterans from the fallout of the 2008 financial crisis.

If elected to Congress, she is committed to preserving Colorado’s federal lands and ensuring the National Park Service and the Bureau of Land Management have the resources they need to protect and preserve our open spaces. She is also committed to ensuring wildland firefighters have the resources to fight wildfires and protect Colorado communities.
