CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Representative Wesley Bell is running for a second term to represent Missouri’s 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has made addressing the climate crisis one of the top priorities in his Congressional campaign. He understands the need to address issues of environmental justice and bring more clean energy jobs to Missouri. One of his immediate priorities in Congress is to ensure the removal and cleanup of radioactive waste near Westlake Landfill and along Coldwater Creek in North St. Louis County, a long-standing concern among local residents.
