CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Representative Maggie Goodlander is running for a second term to represent New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has dedicated her life to public service - she began her career working as a foreign policy advisor in the United States Senate where she helped write landmark sanctions legislation and strengthen democracy around the world. She then went on to serve as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserve for over a decade, counsel in the first impeachment of Donald Trump, Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the Department of Justice, and as a senior advisor at the White House. In Congress, she will continue to fight for our democracy and push for clean air and water protections.
