CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Representative Gwen Moore is running for an 11th term to represent Wisconsin’s 4th Congressional District. Moore previously served in the state Assembly and Senate. She has voted in support of addressing climate change and strengthening protections for clean water. She has been a leader on the Great Lakes Task Force, supporting funding for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and cosponsoring numerous bills to protect the Great Lakes. In Congress, Moore will continue to call for action to address climate change and protections for the Great Lakes. Representative Moore has earned a 95% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard. Representative Moore is endorsed by LCV Action Fund.
