BACKGROUND
Virginia Senate Victory 2026 is a a joint fundraising committee benefiting Friends of Mark Warner and the DSCC. For more information on Sen. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.
Contributions or gifts to Virginia Senate Victory 2026 are not tax deductible. The first $7,000 of each contribution from a person and the first $10,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to Friends of Mark Warner. The first $3,500 of a person’s contribution and $5,000 of a PAC’s contribution will be designated for the primary election; the next $3,500 of a person’s contribution and $5,000 of a PAC’s contribution will be designated for the general election. The next $44,300 of each contribution from a person and $15,000 from a PAC will be allocated to the DSCC. All amounts in excess of these amounts, up to the legal limits, will be allocated to the DSCC’s headquarters fund or voter protection/legal defense fund.
A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by emailing clary@dscc.org. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution.
