CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Tim Greimel is running to represent Michigan’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has served as Mayor of Pontiac and in the Michigan legislature from 2012 to 2018. During four of those years, he was the Democratic Leader of the Michigan House of Representatives. Before his tenure in the legislature, he served on the Oakland County Board of Commissioners where he played a pivotal role in broadening Southeast Michigan’s economic base by drawing new businesses to the area and championing initiatives to secure health insurance for children and families.
