CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Eric Chung is running to represent Michigan’s 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a former teacher, attorney, and with the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice to ensure fairness and opportunity in education. He also worked at the Department of Commerce as a senior lawyer to help implement the CHIPS and Science Act, an unprecedented $39 billion program to bring manufacturing back to America and keep it here. If elected to Congress, he will ensure that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has the resources to fight for clean air and clean water, hold “forever chemical”/per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) polluters accountable, and will work to fix our tax policy to stop giving preferences to oil and gas companies.
