CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Keith Ellison is running for reelection for Attorney General of Minnesota. Before becoming Attorney General, he represented Minnesotans in the U.S. House of Representatives for 12 years, during which he championed consumer, worker, environmental, and civil rights protections for all.
As Attorney General, he has sued the Trump administration over 50 times since the beginning of the President's second term, clawing back billions in funding for hardworking Minnesotan families and protecting the constitutional rights of Americans across the country.
Currently he and his fellow AG's around the country are suing ExxonMobil, Koch Industries, and the American Petroleum Institute for deceiving Minnesotans about the true causes and costs of climate change.
