CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Joshua Cole is running to represent Virginia’s 65th District in the Virginia House of Delegates. Born and raised in the community he represents, Joshua Cole is a local pastor who understands the struggles of people who are raising a family or simply fighting to stay afloat. In 2019, he became the youngest person and the first Black person elected from the Fredericksburg region to the General Assembly. Joshua has taken on big issues – fully funding public schools and teachers, protecting reproductive freedoms and IVF, and increasing access to high quality healthcare.
