CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Jasmine Crockett is running to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate. She currently serves Texas’ 30th Congressional District. After graduating from law school, she began her legal career as a public defender in rural East Texas. She later expanded her law practice as a criminal defense, civil rights, and personal injury attorney in Dallas. She has served as Bowie County Democratic Party Chair and in the Texas House of Representatives prior to serving in Congress.
