Representative Sean Casten is running for a fourth term to represent Illinois's 6th Congressional District. Casten is a biochemical engineer who has worked for and run multiple companies focused on improving energy efficiency and clean energy technology. He also founded an advocacy organization that represented over 50 clean energy businesses. He serves on both the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis and House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, and is a co-chair of the New Democrats Climate Task Force. Representative Casten has earned a stellar lifetime score of 98% on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard.
