Representative Rosa DeLauro is running for a 18th term to represent Connecticut’s 3rd Congressional District. DeLauro previously served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Chris Dodd and the Executive Director of EMILY’s List. Throughout her time in Congress, she has been a champion for Congress. She sponsored the Taxpayer and Gas Price Relief Act to end subsidies and tax credits for Big Oil and introduced a bill that would provide financing for critical energy projects. She has also worked to protect Long Island Sound and called for the need to act on climate change. In Congress, DeLauro will continue to be an environmental ally and advocate for clean energy. Representative DeLauro has earned a 95% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard.
