BACKGROUND
The Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Campaign Committee is the official organization of the Pennsylvania Senate Democrats. Supporting the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Campaign Committee will help take back the pro-environment majority in the State Senate and will help win a trifecta in Pennsylvania.
In 2018, Pennsylvania Senate Democrats flipped five seats—an achievement driven by energized suburban voters, public backlash to GOP extremism, and a popular Democratic Governor standing firm against Trump. The political climate heading into 2026 mirrors that moment: charged suburban momentum, MAGA fatigue, and a Governor with strong approval and clear contrast.
In 2026, Twenty-five even-numbered districts are on the ballot, including twelve currently held by Republicans. Precinct-level analytical models have identified Senate Districts 24, 6, 16, and 40 as priority targets. Early candidate recruitment, focused and resonant messaging, and highly coordinated campaign operations make securing a Senate majority in 2026 not only achievable but increasingly likely.
The top State Senate targets overlap directly with three of the most competitive congressional districts in the country: PA-01, PA-07, and PA-08. Every contribution spent, every volunteer deployed, and every message delivered will help shape control of both the State Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives.
