CANDIATE BACKGROUND

Phil Weiser is running for Governor of Colorado. As Attorney General of Colorado, he has stood up to protect the rule of law and our democracy, and he led the charge against irresponsible companies that profited off Coloradans. Prior to serving as Attorney General, he worked in the U.S. Supreme Court as a clerk for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and at the U.S. Department of Justice and the White House.

If elected as Governor, he is committed to pursuing reliable, affordable, safe, and clean energy solutions—through innovation, a commitment to energy reliability, protecting jobs and affordability for Coloradans, and a commitment to data, science, and responsible decision-making.
