CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Nate Willems is running for Attorney General of Iowa. He previously served two terms in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2008 to 2012 where he fought to protect Iowa’s communities. Since 2010, he has been a full-time labor lawyer and partner at the state’s largest workers’ compensation firm. He is also an executive board member of the Hawkeye Area Labor Council, AFL-CIO, and is a guest lecturer at the University of Iowa Labor Center. He is committed to holding corporate polluters accountable.
