CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Keisha Lance Bottoms is running for Governor of Georgia. She previously served as Mayor of Atlanta, Judge, City Councilmember, and as Senior Advisor to President Joe Biden. As Mayor, she fought to protect Georgia's natural resources from corporate interests and established a Clean Energy Advisory Board to help reduce emissions. She supports investing in flood mitigation, brownfield redevelopment, and protecting Georgia’s water infrastructure.
