CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Jamie Ager is running to represent North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a fourth-generation farmer and entrepreneur. From 2004 – 2006, he participated in an Agriculture Leadership Development Program through NC State and built Hickory Nut Gap, a sustainable meat company. He is committed to protecting the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains National Park, along with several national forests, wilderness areas, and other public lands in North Carolina.
