CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Jacqui Irwin is running to represent California’s 26th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She currently serves in the California State Assembly and formerly served as Mayor of Thousand Oaks. During her tenure, she worked to expand the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, promoted renewable energy resources, and led efforts to utilize the local brine line to bring purified water to local farmers.
