CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Representative Haley Stevens is running for a fourth term to represent Michigan’s 11th Congressional District. Haley was born and raised in Oakland County, Michigan. She served as chief of staff to on the Auto Task Force inside the U.S. Treasury Department, which eventually helped save the auto industry and over 200,000 jobs in Michigan. Since then she has continued to work on programs focusing on job trainings and advanced manufacturing. In Congress, she has focused on clean and smart infrastructure, protecting  water from PFAS, and maintaining the health of the Great Lakes. Representative Stevens has earned a stellar lifetime score of 98% on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard. Representative Stevens is endorsed by LCV Action Fund and NRDC Action Fund.
