CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Beth Helfrich is a third-generation native of Davidson, NC and a mom of five whose life and career has been defined by building community: to create belonging, to solve problems, and to have fun along the way. In addition to working for nearly two decades as a teacher and independent school administrator, Beth has served her community working for her local bookstore, as the town’s public school’s PTO president, and as a champion of her family’s coffee business. Beth believes in hard work, fair play, and people-centered policy; she’s ready to bring those values to Raleigh on behalf of her home district.
