CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Angie Nixon is running to represent Florida in the U.S. Senate. She is a former union organizer and currently serves in the Florida State Legislature. If elected to the Senate, she supports ending taxpayer subsidies for fossil fuel corporations, investing in disaster resilience funding to harden homes against hurricanes, and a transition to a clean energy economy to help create millions of good-paying, union jobs in wind, solar, and grid modernization.
