CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Analilia Mejia is running to represent New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She was a union organizer, led the Working Families Party statewide and served as National Political Director for Bernie Sanders' 2020 presidential campaign. Under the Biden Administration, she served as Deputy Director of the Women's Bureau at the Department of Labor. She currently serves as the Co-Executive Director of Popular Democracy, helping communities across the country push back against Trump and fight to restore the promise of a just democracy.
