CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Will Rollins is running to represent California's 41st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. After graduating from Columbia Law School, Rollins clerked for two federal judges in California. He then served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and then joined the Terrorism and Export Crimes Section of the National Security Division. In this role, he prosecuted some of the insurrectionists who invaded the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. Now he is running for Congress because Rollins understands the importance of taking strong climate action and working towards a clean energy economy. He is campaigning on addressing the wildfires in his district that are exacerbated by climate change, transitioning to a clean energy economy, mitigating the crisis with the Salton Sea north of the California-Mexico border, providing more funding for environmental research and incentivizing new environmental start-ups. Rollins is endorsed by LCV Action Fund, NRDC Action Fund, and California Environmental Voters.
