CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Whitney Fox is running to represent Florida’s 13th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She was born and raised in Tampa Bay by a single mother who was the first nurse at Moffitt Cancer Center. Formerly serving as the Communications Director for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority, Whitney spearheaded the successful SunRunner Bus Rapid Transit system. In Congress, she will focus on promoting renewable energy adoption, incentivizing sustainable practices, and pushing for legislation to achieve net-zero emissions.
