CANDIDATE BACKGROUND
Lucia Baez-Geller is running to represent Florida’s 27th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She is an educator, community leader, and lifelong Floridian. She supports the transition towards a clean energy economy while addressing systemic inequalities. In Congress, she will work on legislation to protect the Biscayne Bay and the Everglades. She will also work to ensure clean water access for all in South Florida, protect Florida’s coastlines from pollution, and invest in sustainable infrastructure for resilient communities. She also wants to strengthen environmental regulations.
