Mark DeSaulnier

Representative Mark DeSaulnier is running for a sixth term to represent California’s 11th Congressional District. DeSaulnier previously served as Mayor of Concord, County Supervisor, and in the state House and Senate. A member of the Safe Climate Caucus, he has been a champion for the environment and has consistently voted in support of cutting carbon pollution and addressing climate change. He has led efforts requesting the Department of Justice investigate whether Exxon Mobil willfully spread misinformation about climate change, and he introduced the John Muir National Historic Site Expansion Act to protect this important land. In Congress, DeSaulnier will continue to be an advocate for cutting carbon pollution and fight Big Oil. Representative DeSaulnier has earned a 100% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard.
